mit jedem Meilen-Sale werden Business- und First-Class-Flüge (vor allem in Asien) erschwinglich [Link],

die Gebühren sind sehr niedrig.
Alaska Mileage Plan: Gebühren/-Erhöhung
Nun stehen uns einige Veränderungen ins Haus, wenn wir einen Prämeinflug buchen.
Die Veränderungen treten zum 5.6.18 in Kraft. Tickets, die nach diesem Datum ausgestellt werden, unterliegen den neuen Gegebenheiten.
Größtenteils sind Gebühren betroffen, die von Alaska bislang kaum oder gar nicht erhoben wurden. Am stärksten dürfte uns die Gebühr treffen, wenn wir unseren Prämienflug frühestens 60 Tage vor Abflug ändern/ stornieren: Hier werden nun 125 USD fällg!
24 hour free change/cancellation policy – Here’s what’s changing:
- The 24-hour free cancellation policy will now only apply to tickets booked for travel starting 24 hours or more from the time of purchase.
- If travel begins within 24 hours of buying your non-refundable ticket, standard change/cancellation fees will apply immediately. If you cancel prior to flight departure, the ticket value will be available as a credit certificate or My Wallet credit.
Change and cancellation fee changes – Here’s what’s changing:
- If you change or cancel your ticket more than 60 days before departure, that change/ cancellation will now be subject to a fee of $125.
- For travel that begins within the 24 hours after you purchase a ticket, the $125 fee applies immediately. For all other travel, the $125 change/ cancellation fee applies starting 24 hours after ticketing.
Same day confirmed changes – Here’s what’s changing:
- We’re removing the 6-hour window requirement, so you can request a same-day change at any time during check-in.
- The new flight you choose will still need to be on the same calendar day as your ticketed flight.
- The same-day confirmed change fee is increasing to $50.
- Our same day confirmed change fee will now apply to non-refundable First Class award travel booked in our A class of service.
An important reminder for anyone making ticket changes or cancellations:
We recently updated our no-show policy. If you don’t change or cancel your ticket before the time your flight is ticketed to depart:
- We’ll cancel your flight reservation and all continuing and return flights.
- The money and/ or miles you spent on the flight will not be available as a credit toward future flights.
